Happy Birthday Emery Ann!

On May 30th at 4:44a Emery Ann joined our family!  She was 7 lbs 8 oz. and 18.5 inches long.  She is so sweet and  perfect.  She has been a wonderful baby so far. I already love her so much and and very loved by her big brother and sister.  We feel extremely blessed to have 3 happy and healthy children!  I also wanted to make known that Emery's middle name is after my Grandma Seraph Annadee that passed away a year ago on May 15th.  I sure wish she could have been here to know we did that, but I hope she is smiling down from heaven.  We miss her so much.  She LOVED snuggling with her great grandchildren.

Emery's Birthday Celebration. 

A brief delivery story--

I woke up at 1:30a and immedietly knew I was in labor.  So, I woke up Todd called my support Aimee and our neighbor to come over to stay with the kids, and packed our last minute things.  We arrived at the hospital around 2:15a.  When I was checked I was 5 cm.  I was able to get into the jacuzi tub for most of my labor and had wonderful support.  When I felt the urge to push the Dr. checked me and I was complete.  So, we headed back to the room to push.  Then when she came into the world we heard--It's a GIRL!  The surprise was very fun.  We had a wonderful experience at our small local hospital and I am so glad I followed my intuition to change doctors and deliver there.  It was definitely my best labor and delivery experience so far.  I had a great team!
