OOPS!

OOPS--I just realized it has been way to long since I last posted. So, this is going to be a blog that should really be several differnt ones. But instead I will combine.

Here is a summary of the pictures that will follow:

I had to show a picture of Adeline in her bikini. She wore it when we went to the splash park the other day.

A few weeks ago we had a baby shower for Todd's sister Gail that is due on August 19th. I wanted to post a few pictures and show the surprise toy box that Elias and Todd built for the baby. Elias was very excited to show her. It was pretty cute. We are very excited to have another nephew soon!!

Todd took some pictures of Elias that I thought really showed some of his many faces. We love his personality that is emerging more each day.

Then this past Saturday a few of my college friends from IWU and thier families came to visit. It was wonderful to spend a day with them catching up and letting the boys play together. They are all so close and it was so cute. As you can see though it was hard to get pictures of them at this age! Also, in the group picture I must add---why are both of my kids bellies showing? Why are me and my kids so white?!
















I had some other pictures I wanted to share, but it is getting late and there are already lots of pictures so I will post those later.

We will be spending this weekend with ALL of the Redden family. I love getting together with my family as we all live in many different places. I always tell my Grandma at our reunion as she is surrounded by her 5 kids, there families, many grandkids and great grandkids that I love the family her and grandpa started. I want to be just like her in my older age. Surrounded by a big family!! We are so excited to see everyone!!! :)

3 months

Adeline was 3 months old last week. You didn't think I would forget to put up pictures would you?!? I decided to do an upright of her in the chair this time as well. It was also time to do a photo shoot. Adeline is such a happy baby. She is constantly cooing and smiling. She is also starting to bat and play with her toys. Right now I feel like Adeline is getting sweeter each day and Elias is getting honorier (is that a word?). Okay, Elias is a sweet boy too, but the wonderful 2's are definitely in full force these days. :) I still aim to do a 2 year photo shoot with Elias sometime before he turns 3. So stay tuned...

4th of July

So the weather was not the best for the 4th, but we made do. We enjoyed being together as a famlily during the day and then spent the evening with some great friends. Also, of course I had to take this opportunity to dress the kids for the the holiday. :) I have come the the realization though that it sure is hard to get good pictures of the kids together.

oh and Adeline officially has a mohawk. Fun times. Hopefully this is the only time in her life that this is the case.... :)

Water fun with neighbors, wedding, and zoo

Since I have been slow at posting lately here are some random pictures from the last few weeks. We are enjoying having Todd home more for the summer. I must admit it was perfect timing to have Adeline in the spring and daddy home for summer. I feel so blessed to have his extra hands and help. He is still keeping busy doing side jobs and getting his EDS liscence, but he makes his own schedule and takes many days off.

Now for all the random pictures....

Our neighbors put up a very fun pool/water inflatable. Elias had a great time playing in it. He loves his little neighbor buddies. The little girls also love him as you can see from the pictures. :)

My cousin got married a few weeks ago and it was great to see some of our extended family. My grandparents were the couple that had been married the longest. It was very sweet. I also loved the picture of her with Adeline. Somehow I didn't get pictures of the Bride and Groom.

Last week we went to the zoo. Elias had a great time. The highlights were the dolphin show and riding the train. Adeline is such a good baby. She hung out in the sling and stroller for the day and was as happy as could be. We are so blessed!
