I love Cheerios and baths!!!

Over the last several weeks Elias has learned to feed himself and it has been so fun to watch this progression. We learned very quickly that his favorite food is Cheerios. We also learned that a sad face will quickly be wiped away with a smile and much excitement when Cherrios are brought out! I am learning to use this to my advantage.... is that bad?!? :)
Elias also loves to take a bath. We have started letting him sit in the tub all by himself lately and he loves scooting and splashing all around!

Teeth and other happenings...

Elias' top two teeth came in a few weeks ago and I just realized I haven't posted any pictures of it yet. He loves to show them off and lately has been smiling so big that his eyes close and it is SOOO cute--I love it! He is also currently getting 2 more top teeth and another bottom one. Needless to say he is getting a mouthful of teeth and it is really changing his looks--for the cuter of course!! :)

I put Elias in the kitchen while I was cleaning the other day and he scooted over to the dishwasher and was having a good old time investigating and playing with things. He has not started crawling yet, but is becoming moblie in other ways (scooting and rolling).

Cousin Cole and Elias this past weekend. Look at those thighs! One is showing more then the other! :)

The other day Elias enjoyed hanging out with some good friends of ours three kids. Elias just loved interacting and watching these kids play with him. Here is an adorable picture of them posing (minus the 18 month old).

Happy New Year!

We had a wonderful Christmas and New Year's here at the Hitchcock household. The holidays are officially over as Todd headed back to school today after his Christmas Break. (Don't teachers have the best schedules ever?) Anyway...I haven't posted since Christmas, so here are a few photo's from Elias' first Christmas and New Year's.

On Christmas morning Elias was pretty overwhelmed by opening gifts, but after our 4th celebration Elias was really getting the hang of opening gifts. It was really fun to watch his progress throughout the day. Us with our little reindeer on Christmas....

Trisha's parents got Elias a cart to pull behind with our bikes. Grandpa Redden was so excited to have Elias try it out. He pulled him all around in it and Elias loved it. We can't wait for the spring when we can use it!
