The summer has been going great, but unfortunately winding down for us in the teaching profession. I will be back at school in about 4 weeks, which doesn't give me a lot of time to finish all the projects I want to get done. We have been keeping busy hanging out with friends and family most of the summer. I have been busy doing construction for various people and taking some electives for my masters. Trisha is adjusting to working from home as she winds down career woman mode and begins stay at home mom mode. Things are going great and neither of us can complain and we are just amazed at how greatly we have been blessed. Litte Elias is getting bigger every day. He also is getting more and more interactive. New firsts are coming almost every day and we are struggling to keep up with all the new things he is doing. It won't be long before you see pictures of him crawling around on the blog : )

Trip to Brown County

Last weekend we took Elias on his first little trip to Brown County. We stayed in a cabin with some friends for a few nights and had a good ole' time. Elias was such a good boy and I think he enjoyed his first little get-a-way too. One day we ventured to the park and I suggested we go on a 2 mile moderate hike. (I think I forot the guys would be hauling the kids in tow). Anyway it was a lot of fun and the guys were such troopers for hauling the kiddo's up and down the hills. Aren't they such studs!?! Then we topped the trip off with shopping at Edinburgh Outlet Mall. :)
